More from Marcy Jo's Mealhouse - Pottsville, TN

Back in January, I posted about My First Trip to Marcy Jo's Mealhouse in Pottsville, TN, an absolutely fantastic little "country eatin' spot" in Pottsville, Tennessee - just outside of Nashville...

Today I'm bringing you a few more photos from that day at Marcy Jo's... These were taken during a December visit to Nashville, so while the decor shown reflects our recent temperatures, it does not reflect our current season...

My First Trip to Arnold's Meat & 3 - Nashville, TN

On a recent trip to Nashville, Evan insisted that we try to have lunch at Arnold's before leaving town...

Arnold's Country Kitchen on Urbanspoon
As we arrived I couldn't help but notice that there was a line out the door and nearly to the street.  You'll forgive me for not having a photo of that, I was busy spewing curse words and insisting that this food could not possibly be worth this line, especially on the last day of the trip when I was starting to become anxious to be back in my "bubble of home"...

As it turned out, I was as wrong as wrong can be my friends...

Not only is it worth standing in line, it's worth the drive to Nashville if you're in that region of the country... You MUST check the hours first though, they're not open on weekends - Phenomenal food, absolutely the best Turnip Greens I have ever eaten, an interesting atmosphere and an overall great experience....

Below is a video I was able to find online to give us a little more background on the place .... enjoy!

I Heart Vintage Signage...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE vintage signs of all kinds.  I love the imagery, I love the colors, I love the fact that droves and droves of people over several decades have walked under those signs for a bite to eat ... each of those people with their own story and own life... I have no idea why my mind operates in such a vintage, nostalgic fashion... but I'm glad it does...

I've designed a bit of merchandise from the Rotier's photo ... View the Rotier's Photo and others at KCoJax.SmugMug.com by clicking here....  Get it in the form of a magnet! -
Put the Rotier's photo on your fridge, filing cabinet or locker with the magnet at Flawn Ocho ...

I'm in the process of designing a "checkerboard design" of sorts made up of beautiful vintageness such as this ... I'll of course give you the link to it here, so don't forget to bookmark or follow me SOMEWHERE...
